Privacy

Narrative Radar has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. A post only leaves your device when you ask the radar to read it.

What it reads

When you tap the radar on a post on X (or search from the toolbar button), the extension reads that post: its text, the author's handle and name, the handles it replies to, the post it replies to or quotes, link previews, and its images or video. It does not read anything else on the page, your messages, your account or your browsing history.

Posts on screen that contain a token contract address also have that address looked up on DexScreener, to show the coin's ticker, market cap and age under the post. Only the address is sent, not the post.

Where it goes

Results for a post are cached on our server for a few minutes (video transcripts for up to 24 hours) so a repeat scan is instant. Your IP address is used only to limit how many scans one person can run. Cloudflare, which hosts the server, keeps standard request logs for a few days. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.

What it stores on your device

Whether you've seen the first-run tip, and a cache of on-chain launch data so bundle checks are faster next time, in your browser's extension storage. Removing the extension deletes them.

Links it opens

Buttons for Axiom, Padre, Fomo, GMGN, DexScreener, Solscan, RugCheck and Bubblemaps open those sites with the coin's address. What happens there is governed by their own policies.
